Definitions

Callan Online: Callan Online Ltd, a company registered in the UK with registered offices at 705 The Chandlery, 50 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7QY, UK. Our VAT number is GB 244811024

The Website: the website and other online assets hosted at www.callanonline.com.

The Platform: the systems that are accessed through the Website and which enable online English language lessons to be offered by Tutors and purchased by Students including display of Lesson availability, booking and payment processes and tracking of progress and performance.

User: anyone who uses the Website or the Platform

Student: anyone who registers as a Student for the purpose of purchasing and receiving Lessons

Tutor: anyone who applies and is accepted by Callan Online as an independent provider of Lessons

Lesson: a pre-arranged time period, paid for by the Student, during which a Tutor teaches the English language to one or more Students

General

Il presente Accordo è stipulato tra Callan Online e tutti gli Utenti.
Tutti i termini e le condizioni contenuti nel presente Accordo si applicano a tutte le vendite e agli accordi tra Callan Online e gli Utenti e a qualsiasi utilizzo del Sito web e della Piattaforma da parte degli Utenti.
Utilizzando il Sito web o la Piattaforma come Utente accetti tutti i termini del presente Accordo.
L’Accordo con l’Utente costituisce un accordo legalmente vincolante tra te e Callan Online.

Callan Online provides a platform where Users can purchase language lessons and related products, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. La piattaforma è accessibile online attraverso il sito web www.callanonline.com.
Per iscriverti come studente a Callan Online dovrai compilare il modulo di iscrizione sul sito web di Callan Online.
Per completare l’iscrizione dovrai scegliere un nome utente/email, una password e un ID Skype. You will be held responsible for all actions committed with the use of your username and password and must therefore take all measures necessary to protect these details. Non devi permettere a nessun altro di accedere al sito web di Callan Online utilizzando il tuo nome utente e la tua password.
I servizi di Callan Online non sono accessibili ai minori di 18 anni, senza il previo consenso esplicito dei loro genitori o tutori. La registrazione di uno studente di Callan Online è personale e non è trasferibile.

By using the Website, whether or not you register as a Student, you acknowledge that Callan Online owns the copyright to all material published on the Callan Online website and ancilliary materials. Non prenderai accordi separati con i Tutor di Callan Online. Callan Online may provide contact details of their Tutors to you with the sole purpose of facilitating communication about and during lessons. You will not use this information for any other purposes, and will not share this information with third parties.
Callan Online may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the website, without notice, for any conduct that Callan Online, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user, a third party or Callan Online.
Despite any other established legal rights, Callan Online is entitled, at its own choice, in case of ‘force majeure., to cancel a lesson booking, or cancel this User Agreement without legal intervention, by informing you in writing. You are not entitled to any damages, unless, given the circumstances, such cancellation would be unacceptable according to measures of reason and fairness.
All communication between Callan Online and you will be electronic; through email or notices posted on the Website. Callan Online reserves the right to record lessons for purposes of teaching quality control.

Prices, Payment and Delivery

Prices will be at the levels and in the currencies as published from time to time on the Callan Online website. Payment methods will be as described on the website. Cancellations and refunds

Se Callan Online non è in grado di fornire una lezione che è stata pagata, puoi scegliere una lezione sostitutiva o un rimborso completo entro 14 giorni dalla cancellazione. La responsabilità di Callan Online è limitata al rimborso del prezzo delle Lezioni non fornite su base proporzionale.

Devi informare Callan Online per iscritto via e-mail della tua intenzione e devi seguire tutte le ulteriori istruzioni di cancellazione stabilite da Callan Online. Callan Online will then reimburse you within 14 days. This guarantee does not apply if the Lesson has been provided.

Liability

Due to the nature of the internet, Callan Online cannot guarantee that the Website and the Platform will be free from delays, interruptions or errors. Callan Online will take all reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Website is correct, but cannot give representations or warranties, express or implied, in relation to the accuracy or completeness of the said information.
Callan Online takes precautions to protect personal data collected through the website, but in the event that Callan Online’s system is infiltrated by unauthorized third parties, Callan Online will not be liable for any resulting misuse of personal data.
Any of Callan Online’s liability resulting from use or visitation of the website will be limited to direct damages and an amount up to the price paid for Lessons during the 3 month period prior to any claim. La responsabilità per i danni indiretti è in ogni caso esclusa.

In the case of queries or complaints concerning any Callan Online services, Tutors, products or procedures, please email (support@callanonline.com). You will receive a reply within three working days.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This User Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, with the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 11 April 1980. In the case of translation or explanation of the contents of Callan Online’s website, the English version of the text in the website and these General Terms and Conditions will remain determinate.
